An evening with a childhood author.

Whilst flicking through the Cultural Exchanges brochure one name caught my eye. Benjamin Zephania. I remember one Christmas as a child, receiving a book of his in my stocking. It was one of the first books I can remember reading and since then I have always kept an eye out for his name.

Although an extremely talented novelist for both children and adults, Zephania is more known for his extremely prolific poetry writing and is well known for his 'Street Politics' . One of the bigger names on the listings, Zephania is well worth the £3.50 ticket charge for any writing student at the university.

My name is Luke and I'm 20 years old.

I've written blogs before but always lost interest or given up. Maybe because this is an academic requirement of my university course I'll actually stick to it.

I find the easiest way to describe to my friends at uni where I live as "in between London and Cambridge." but I'll assume your geographical skills are better then theirs and tell you that I'm from a village in North Hertfordshire on the Three Counties border between Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. (Beds, Herts and Bucks.)

Anything remotely related to my course (Journalism and Creative Writing) will go up on here. Enjoy.
